He made sense, would have made you proud <g>." This is great to hear! Very encouraging to see this. And very appreciated. What a discouraging day it was for us at work. We had a set back on something that's very important to us. I just got home from work. What a long day. So, it's nice to hear some encouraging news like that. A bright spot. I've got to say, as a side note, it's deeply concerning the shaky bankrupt communication links holding corporations today. What is the name of the white weed or daisy, where you blow it, and all the links of the daisy's circle just blow away in the wind? Saw the Washington Post article Grove wrote. Excellent! Saw it around 9:30 while taking a quick look at SI when grabbing a bite to eat. We had a rather large setback today at work, not too uncommon for someone in communications these days, so it was really nice to read the article. Rather encouraging. Told our CEO in a sincere and supportive tone of voice, "Andy Grove of Intel wrote an article in the Washington Post telling people to stop beating up on entrepreneurs and CEOs", and for the first time today he smiled. Very nice article that both is uplifting and gets at the real issues. Somehow Enron has made the public forgetful about how hard companies work. During the day and evenings, I work with engineering, sales, marketing and some of the sales accounts, our accountant (who has a day job elsewhere) comes in around 7PM to work on our company, and when I get home sometimes I get in contact with our international site around midnight to 2AM. That's reality for most startups. Why doesn't the media talk about that, rather than implying the Enron's of the world are every company and everyone? Regards, Amy J
