Sonic Cannon - cool technology.

You know, I read somewhere that someone said "ever hear of ear plugs". Well, ear plugs might give 6 to 12 dB of reduction in sound level (at best). So, take their 145 dB and drop it to 135 because, on that day, the bad guy remembered his (or her) ear plugs, and it will still be loud enough. For reference, a good 100 watt home stereo is good for around 110 to 115 dB depending on speakers. Ever run it that loud and just hang out? To get to 135 dB on a home stereo, you'ld probably need near 15000 watts - or more.

The 145 is LOUD! with protection it is still loud - and painful.

A sonic cannon has potential (IMHO), and it can't blow a hole in a pressurized aircraft.
