Brian, this news release reminded me of what Goldman/Sachs had to say back on June 21 about this system. Hmm, I wonder what was on the menu for dinner? I know those analysts can really put on the feed bag when there is free food!

Applied Materials, Inc. AMAT $19.19 June 21, 2002

Summary: Applied Materials (AMAT-$19; MO) hosted an Analyst dinner Wednesday night to introduce its new 300mm single-wafer multi-chamber wet clean tool, called the Oasis Clean. We came away extremely impressed with the product positioning and potential for the product to have a meaningful impact for Applied over the next several years. While we believe that this new product introduction is an important part of Applied Materials' longer-term growth strategy, we do not believe that it will have a substantial impact on the company's near-term earnings.
