Dave, actually it's not so amazing when you come to think of it. It takes a lot of guts to speak out. Murray Conradie wrote in his letter that he has received hate mail and death threats. Also a tiny company that hasn't yet reached profitability is vulnerableIF a market maker was one of those involved in manipulation. The market maker could do what he could to lower the stock price and this could hurt the company if it were trying to obtain financing by selling stock.

I don't want what I am about to say to be misinterpreted that I believe a market maker was involved in manipulating Nutek stock. I don't know if any market makers were guilty of manipulation so I don't want to make that accusation. However, IF Mr. Conradie suspeced that that the market maker was guilty then this could explain why he didn't start making a big stink about this until recently. The last quarter was the first quarter in a while that Nutek had a profit (about $147,000) and this quarter they anticipate a profit of $225,000. They used to finance some of their activities by issuing stock but they don't have to do this any more. It is easier to speak out from a position from strength.

Dave, come on now, that crap reads like someone who has nothing better to do with his time !

I just love the part about all the elderly who invested their life savings in a company with 1 employee and $3,500 in cash .... I spewed coffee all over the monitor !

Outlaw all shorting ? Get real ! Why not print permits to steal money from the public ?

I can't wait to see what other brilliant ideas his Special Task Force comes up with !

I would wager for every company unfairly shorted (if there even is such a thing), there are 1,000 that are pure out and out scams, nothing more !!!

This guy should worry about running his company rather than wanting to run his stock price.
