Amnesty International is a political organisation lacking the expertise to make military judgements. By all accounts, the Israelis went to tremendous lengths to avoid civilian casualties at Jenin, and the IDF absorbed many casualties of their own. The Israelis almost never bomb civilian areas (unlike most other western nations), specifically to minimize casualties. Had the US been fighting at Jenin, you can be pretty darn sure the civilian casualties would have been much higher. Your argument is specious and offensive. 20% of Israelis are Arabs. My best friend is an Arab. If you read the Israeli press, you will see an amazing lack of enmity against Arabs.
