Hi Wayne, how are you ?

Well I gotta tell ya, I really thought the economy and earnings would recover in time to prevent the markets from breaking their Oct 1998 lows.

But with so much negative news I guess the individual investor can't take it any more. Kind of sad.

I've been averaging in since mid June. About $150/week in my 401K, lol. This "dollar cost averaging" voodoo I've been hearing so much about better work !!

I'm hoping that EMC, MTON, TALK and (Gulp !) RSAS work out for me, cuz I bought them about where they are now.

Don't laugh too much but I own APT and FWC too.

I bought some SCLD despite Stingray's note of caution, lol.

Chris

Hi Wayne and Stingray -- I'd like your thoughts on ERICY,

As you may or may not know, Ericsson is planning on raising cash by doubling its outstanding shares for sale at .41. The only gimmic is that they are offering the .41 shares only to registered stock holders.

biz.yahoo.com

First, I can't find when they plan to do this. Does anyone know ?

Second, is there a money making strategy for playing this ?

Should I wait until the day before and buy shares of ERICY and then take advantage of the .41/share offer ? Or should I wait until the offer is over and buy shares being dumped at .50 or under ? Or avoid ERICY altogether ?

Or what ?

Do you think there will be a pump associated with this offering ? By the way, I've posted this on 2 other threads, lol.

Thanks,
Chris
