Interesting Karen. BUT WHERE is the growth for this country going to come from???? If it isn't tech, then where???? Steel? Commodity (pick any)?? Timber? and so on, and so on...

This problem has been coming for more than 10 years, IMO!!! And whatever the politics, NO ONE has answered this ..... So many are willing to toss mud and dash business of any kind....and yet, where does growth and financial security come from? Working people, right? Not more government employees...There is not a single government employee that produces income. They provide necessary (most of them anyhow) services. They manufacture nothing.

So really, the politicians of every stripe had better get a grip soon, and realize again, if we don't have business, what will the citizens do? Plant gardens in the streets? Barter? Make their own clothing? Cut down the forests for wood?

Your point is well taken...>>>Republicans don't take responsibility for anything, they just look for someone to blame when things go bad <<<

As a Democrat and a long time student of American Political History...I think Bush has got a terrible group of domestic advisors. Even if Bush is given high marks for the 9/11 crises....he has failed most everywhere else.

1) He has no middle east policy beyond supporting Israel.

2) Out domestic economy is recovering without creating new jobs.

3) Ashcroft sees terrorists in every flower pot in every city. Fear mongering seems to be his chief duty.

4) Bush is determined to go to war with with Iraq on some very poor intelligence interpretations.

5) He is turning this terrorist hunt into an anti-Muslim jihad.

6) But its our economy and stock market that are going to do him in..... He ought to take a line from slick Willie as....."I feel your pain"....
