The whole culture of lying for self-gain is at fault here. But many people just don't care, as long as they're also making money. In the case of AMD, the 'Droids don't care whether Jerry is trying to sell the Brooklyn Bridge. As long as Hammer is a success and they make their two-bagger (or more), Jerry can say whatever he wants. It was the same way with Enron, it was the same way with Worldcom, and it was even the same way with Clinton. Lying for self-gain, and the apologists say, "Well, that's the real world, so live with it." No thanks. Tenchusatsu

Anyone notice that Intel has now had two quarters in a row with 100%+ increases in EPS? I realize last year was bad, but still this is a decent accomplishment. And the next two quarters should show even higher increases in EPS, probably >400% in Q3, and 100%-200% in Q4. Adam
