Dow 10 points from its September low -- double bottom or do we start looking for the next level of support? Firming dollar suggests a bounce to me.

Lost me there VT. You mean gold stocks have NOT kept up and the big players are not stepping in? (Yet)

I too have noticed how they seem to wait for 3pm.

I have certainly noticed that traders take down the price of gold mining shares after gold closes at 1:30 or 3pm.
The same happened today. In fact the top in price of the miners was from the surpise pop in the POG this morning and it's been downhill ever since then. I am still waiting to see if NEM is going to gravitate toward its max pain at 27.5 when the options expire today. If they don't I will be put a few shares of NEM unless I decide to bail.
