is that all the "Rubin" bull's got...?

i think i may be done taunting for a while; seriously considering 'hanging it up' on Monday. not 'cause i think a bounce is coming, but 'cause it just isn't fun to be a bear/short any more. i kinda relish my 'bad seed' image, and its kinda fun to say "those friggin' boomers will think it's like the Black Death when the S&P goes to 500", but finding joy in others' misery is quickly losing its allure, especially as more and more of the miserable are people i know. many of us get a little kick out of typing 'TL & EV', but now that we may be on the cusp of it being real it ain't so funny any more. the bear has been very kind to me, so its probably worth just calling it a day. this just sucks.

i of course reserve the right to change my mind after a weekend spent with my baby girl and watching Pedro and Moose get it on at the Stadium and Lance crush the field on the Ventoux.

and Myth, F equity is still worth $0 <g>

Cheers

13,000 respondents see Dow 7000 as the bottom

cbs.marketwatch.com

It doesn't say if they were being polled to give the number for THE bottom or only the expected intermediate term trading bottom, though. I assume the it was latter, but I don't know.
