Message from twilko: "... up. Terry Terry [end.] An echo, or
has another Terry joined you in this battle(s) fight :o)
Remember those cardboard boxes used in past World Wars
to look like tanks for the other side to see at a distance and
make them worry and stay away, or fire ammo at.
On the Tom Brokal news just on he spoke with Warren Buffet
today and he said that the markets of dow[n] & nasquack
are in the spin cycle of the washing machine that shows us all
the dirty dirt being squeezed out of the shorts and crapped.
I forget, who posted here last year "turn turn turn" ?

Terry, once again I agree with you.

You must be a mind reader. Yes, I too see the Indices 50% below where they are now and I don't think that's "oversold". As you say, there has still to be a lot of bloodshed. I believe to the point, in fact, when very few people will want to hear the name "stockmarket" or "stockbroker" again. Indeed, many will be creamed and will lose most of their lifes' savings. The peoples' mood will change from loyalty and fear to being very unhappy and very, very angry. It is conceivable that there could even be revolution and/or anarchy and also that the whole economic system could change. Clearly, the kind of "capitalism" which we have just seen, which benefits mainly crooks or those who can print money, will have to change. Likewise government officials who regard themselves as being in government just to accept bribes and to do the bidding of those who pay them "under the table".

Therefore, as the market falls, all kinds of witchhunting, blaming and soulsearching will take place. Very few are going to come out unscathed one way or another. Many more laws will be enacted and many guys, corporate executives and others, will go to jail. "Terrorists" will be found to be lurking within the US and not in remote lands but unfortunately, as is usually the case, the real ones will get away.

Meanwhile, judging from their performance today, I think gold stocks still have a lot more "consolidating" to do before they are ready to move up. Possibly, even gold, itself.

BTW, I note that a bull market in bonds could be underway.

Out of nowhere Jeb Stuart's cavalry outflanked the Yankees.

The DOW needs to continue closing at 8000 on a weekly basis. I would expect a rally this coming week. A further fall is unthinkable. I'm thinking silver will outperform gold and possibly in a spectacular way.
