Gst, according to the archives Bill first bought TiVo at $28 ps, he's been pumping it ever since.
This is what you might not know. TiVo has 422,000 paying subscribers, it lets viewers skip ads (which Bill used to sell for ABC) by fast-forwarding through them 60 times as fast as they could with an ordinary VCR (VCR's are out DVD's are in). Yet TiVo has evaded litigation perhaps because it is 28% owned by entertainment producers AOL Time warner,Sony and NBC.
Btw
The TiVo machine costs $400.00 per machine, and its not mobile.
