But no, it doesn't; not in my case. Start at 1993, please? June 1993, to be precise, when I started my first job and 401k.

BTW, I just realized that my ESPP purchases from 1993 have gone up some 25 fold in the last 9 years. And this is after a 75% or so drop in my employer's stock over the past 2 years.
