"DO YOU THINK IF THIS WERE THE CASE ELGINDY WOULD LEAVE A PAPER TRAIL OF MONEY WIRES. COME ON"

When you think you're Superman, you believe you're bullet proof!
DO YOU THINK ELGINDY THOUGHT HE WOULD GET CAUGHT?
No he didn't, that's why he did it. I think he thought he
was "safe" since he had a "FBI connection".
COME ON!

Paper trail

Unfortunately for Tony, he left more than wire transfer paper trails. There are other wire transfer trails, credit card receipt trails, telephone call trails, e-mail trails, and even a paper trail to Nicaragua and the web site.

It is not as you put it, "HYPE". Even in his letter, Tony indicates that he is facing over 200 months in jail. You think that is "hype"?

As for the not guilty plea, well even the child murderer in California has pleaded not guilty. Do you think that is hype? Most crims plead not guilty in hopes of prolonging their case and working out some type of plea bargin. Cleveland was smart in cutting a deal. He limited his liability. Also, do you think that he will not turn the FEDS on to more "paper trails"?

IMO, you are wrong in minimizing the seriousness of the situation and by trying to make it all look like a government conspiracy.

Again, JMHO
