Some would say it shows the control the media has over our self-impression. Along with artfully misleading polling and a think-tank-driven Washington political structure that skillfully avoids representing the will of the people.

How can the DOD report $2.3 TRILLION in missing money not cause a collosal scandal? Etc. etc. Truly amazing. Only with the best PR firms and covert psy-ops money can buy do we see how bullied and henpecked the American people are, into giving up their lives, money, rights and representation, by endless meaningless media rhetoric without true rebuttle, and constant changing of the subject.

Probably no real dialog will occure without a Nixonian crisis, or '29-style economic debacle.

"They hate us for our freedom and prosperity" is such nonsense -- the funniest comment was, "so, thank goodness, Bush responded, and took away our freedoms and prosperity"
