What do you think about King Abdullah and Queen Rania. I am aware that the Queen is Palestenian. But do you think that they will be more acceptable to toeing the Bush line than Mubarak?

Yes, if they feel strong enough. The Hashemite Kingdom is weak and essentially functions as a buffer state between Israel and Iraq. Notice that we have just upped the American aid to Jordan to $300 million per year. The Hashemites (and King Abdullah seems a very intelligent representative) have always been allies of Israel and the US in private, but in public they are usually too weak to avoid being dragged along in whatever Arab craziness is the order of the day.
