BEA had roughly 5% on NT last year. I think this happened because the data centre had a NT area.

The concern I have for Microsoft is that they don't have a 64-bit operating system coming until 2005 (longhorn). Although the capabilities of longhorn are great, this is a long time for linux to have a free run in the 64-bit world.

In the end it will be a J2EE and .NET world.

Of course, I believe that Microsoft is actually trying to turn the Internet and WWW into a proprietary system. The degree to which that is successful affects the short term for J2EE vendors.
