Okay lets use your plant analogy. Plants grow toward light and it is necessary to turn indoor plants periodically to keep them growing straight. Bush has been in office less than 2 years. I don't see any desire to achieve any kind of balance from the left. Anyway Bush is a conservative moderate and Clinton was a liberal moderate. Many from both sides will deny that, but it is true. Clinton ignored political problems that he shouldn't have, but it was the character issue that lost him the American people's respect.
