Tim, how do you feel about the killing of innocent civilians in Gaza last night?

I didn't know about until reading your post. Obviously I'm not happy that the innocent civilans where killed. I'm not sure about the number or innocent civilian deaths but I think you can at least count the eight children in that category.

However I am glad they got the military leader of Hamas.

There are some similarities to the civilian deaths from this attack and those from those from US bombing in Afghanistan. If anything Israel has even been more careful about trying to prevent civilian deaths then we have.

Just for the record this type of isolated bombing raids by Israel started well before the suicide bombers. Is it possible that suicide bombers are in retaliation to these bombing raids?

All the targets of these attacks have been terrorists. They might have started before the suicide bombings but they didn't start before terrorist attacks on innocent civilians. The people targeted where people who did things like planting bombs on buses.

And how do you think this latest raid helps the peace process?

There has not been a serious peace process in the area for years.
