Yes, people had 2.4 YEARS to short effectively. Why now?

Looks like your buddy lucked out on AOL if he covers relatively soon. I didn't mean to say shorting was stupid for trades.

What is stupid are the small investors who waited 2.4 years to start shorting. I heard that for the first time yesterday shorting by the small investor actually outnumbered long positions. Bad timing.

Who knows, maybe tomorrow will be a different story, but I just bet you a ton of people shorted MSFT at $43 or below. There are better stocks that that to short.

ADELPHIA CROOKS - BTW, where were the Board of Directors of Adelphia when one of the crooks was building a $13M golf course?

We can't forget how important it is to get reforms in this area. This can't be a country club anymore. They have been guilty too of their shareholder watchdog role. Put them in the Public Square too with their head, hands and legs in that funky old 17th century wooden bondage thingee.
Let's at least embarass the heck of out them and remind them how they have cost some people their futures.

PS - it must have a name. Was it the "stock"?
