I made a lot of money on the semi's in two days and lost all of it and more holding on while the VIX rose up to 50.

Glad I took my losses and bought the utes.

I've got a nice position in AEP also.

REI up 63%

AEP up 12.1%

TXU up 7.9%

ED up 6.1%

and many more up 2-5%.

Makes up a little for the dive into the semi's.

Jim

Warp, one of the things I've learned about TA is you must move fast if the price doesn't support the indicators. Pre-market showed the semi's were going to take a hit and I placed my sell orders in pre-market. Based on where I bought yesterday and where I sold today, I managed less than a 1% gain after sales commissions.

I am down 4% on my AMD from where I bought yesterday. I normally would sell at this point, but I do want to keep some shares stashed away.

I have found from experience that until you have a double digit gain in a stock, don't be bashful to pull the trigger when the indicators aren't moving the way you want. If we were in a bull market, it would be different.

What's that slogan?

"Think big, move fast."
