8% on the current share price or 8% on the share price at the time? I don't think you'll ever see 8% dividend on the share price at the time of the dividend. When QUALCOMM is paying 8% on today's share price of $27, the shares will be selling for $100 or $200. You'll kick yourself.

I'm getting 1.6% on my US$ at the moment, so I'm thinking that I don't need 8% on QUALCOMM to make it worthwhile. Especially with the demand for cdma2000 as shown here: 3gtoday.com
