Ask any brokerage to broker cd's. If you have more then 100K in MM ask them to divide in 100K lots and deposit in cd's in difernent banks. Ie take 1 Mill and SSB divides between 10 banks at 100K each. SSB divides it into Citibank in diferent states which gives you full 100K in each state Citibank(all seperate companies). That way you have 1mill FDIC insured

Yea, have ML Banking advantage... but only for 100k... I've denoted that account for my money, and their MM account for the money I owe the IRS -ggg-

That's what I figured, according to their web site SIPC insures securities up to 500K and cash to 100k. This guy was telling me SIPC insured up to 10 million! I knew that was smoke, and that's what got me started... didn't think MM funds were included.
