Some things are not fixable. I wonder if JPM is one of them. I dare say 'they' will take actions which will help stabilize things, such as dumping a few cubic metres of gold on the markets if that's what it takes.

Better to empty Fort Knox or wherever the stuff is stashed if that's what it takes. I have no idea why low gold prices are supposed to be good for J P Morgan. I shall go and read Jay's review to see why.

Maybe I should help rescue the world's economy by buying some of said gold if they are unloading it and need buyers. Nobility should be my middle name.

On second thought, after reading up on the role of JPM and Citigroup in the Enron debacle, I think they may deserve to twist in the wind.
