Its okay to pay them that much but paying the former Sec of the Treasury who helped lead the longest peacetime econ. expansion in US history $40 million is over the top? Everyone knows what Rubin is being paid for -- he was being paid to make phone calls to the White House to try and prevent lowering of Enron's credit rating. Unfortunately, for him, the current administration wouldn't play. A person would have to be blind or stupid not to see what Rubin is collecting this massive sum for.
