bcrafty, perhaps I overstated my position, (or perhaps I'm waffling in the harsh light of morning), but I didn't mean to say that we could not have an asymetrical rally. It's just that I don't think the NYSE can keep going for long, given this environment, if the NAZ continues to make new lows. It's just my impression that the markets are too skittery for that to happen. So, while in theory I agree with you, I don't think there is 2+ weeks to spare. I think if the NAZ can't get anything going this week, it will drag the NYSE back down. JMHO, and admittedly not based on a lot.
