This story isn't that MOT is building a 1x ASIC - but that MOT will buy them from a third party manufacturer.

Certainly MOT would have a better chance designing one for itself...

Excuse me, but why didn't they save this rumor for expiry week? What bs....if they do this we will be reading stories about the damn things catching on fire...I'll add under 27, just like the a$$h*le who started this rumor will.

yes, and mot has as much chance of building a good chip as Qcom has of getting to 200 by jan.

How true. MOT always talks up a big game, but has shown poor execution.
