Nope - most option plans allow for expired/cancelled options to be recycled and used again.

Ian, it is still important to keep and motivate key people. One alternative to repricing is to allow employees to trade out of the money options for a lesser amount of at market options. The new options could also require revesting. Thus the consideration for repricing is reducing the total number and requiring additonal years of service to revest.
