Got one for you EC.

I have this spot of bedrock on the fraser. It has a few flat rocks the size of a football that sit on top. I can pretty much go back every year and come up with the same amount of gold. But if I skip 3 years or even 5 the amount of recovered gold remains the same . What is with that ?
My partner ( now Deceased ) and I used to spend hours trying to figure that one out. We always put the rocks back after cleaning the bedrock by the way.

regards
ralfph

Ha Ha Ha!

E.Charters, I doubt marcos would shoot miners since he buys miner stock.

Thank you for the definition of "placer." That is incredible ... there is a whole world out there of new things for me to learn about. I'm going to check out the link you gave me now.
