Generally, I give cops the benefit of doubt, until they prove otherwise. Being a cop is a tough job. It's dangerous and doesn't pay well. The vast majority of cops have no incentive to bust innocent people.

So do I. Did anyone besides me defend the cops in the Amadou Diallo case?
