What it see is that Palm as a company not a product, was a sham, a name that was nothing more than a pump dream, which was more interested in producing stock options than product, and that MS came in and worked on the language until they had something useful, and incouraged an entire generation of programers to write for it.

And Att is a one hundred and thirty year old company who still has connections to verizon and cingular who used to be, if memory serves, is the mother of unix.

I could go on.............

[Edit]

One Operating System, Under God, with Certificates of Authenticity and Stock options, for all.

And let us say, upward trend...and Ascend.

well rocky, I see the pieces coming together. This is not about simply selling millions of pieces of PDA hardware and making the profit that goes with it, this is about the future.

What future you ask? Take a few minutes to read the following articles...sure, they are just devices, but the things that people are being enabled to do with them are pretty amazing. That is part of the vision that you are not seeing. The services that are available and the devices that are out there need to continue to grow in number and in capability in order to help realize the vision.

Can you think of another company that has the resources, ambition, and persistance to make it happen?
