Go to Windows Update page and download and install the Microsoft Virtual Machine. That should fix the no java problem. Some versions of XP shipped without java installed.

Karen, wait for someone who knows to see your post. I'm sure you'll get help. All I know is that Sun Java would attach itself to your browser, if you downloaded it. If your browser is IE, installation will be automatic.

But you don't have to buy anything.
