I'm thinking about getting a Nissan 350Z

Tim, you've surprised me. I know you're too young for a mid life crisis. <g>

I had a '76 280S and an '85 300ZX. They were utterly wonderful cars. I understand your attraction.

When I bought my first Z, there were waiting lists. I waited well over a year, I can't recall how long. And when I got one, I paid full sticker price for it. Earlier ones carried a premium so I thought that a deal. I never regretted it, but somehow I have trouble envisioning you splurging like that. I have a friend who has been wanting one of the new Acura RVs but refuses to pay the premium. I don't know that there will be a premium on this car, but I wouldn't be surprised. Just something to think about. Maybe you'll have longer to save up than you think.
