rob - I guess everyone has conveniently forgotten the 5% CAP that Nokia placed on royalties. Trust me, this includes qualcomm's prorated share.

You are showing a complete lack of understanding here. There are so many ways to slice and dice this. But I'll stick to one:

1) Even the Nokia release talked of this as a 'proposal' (meaning they admit they can't decide unilaterally)

2) Qualcomm has a signed agreement with Nokia, and almost everyone else, for about 5%.

3) Qualcomm said "No" to Nokia's proposal.
