Yesterday, Mrs. McKie asked me to come out and talk with our gardener. He has been thinking about buying a house for about a year, but has held off because of the prices. He was freaking out a bit because little crap houses are listing for 250k and getting 10-20k more on the bid. He wanted to know if he should just bite the bullet and buy. I described the internet bubble for him, and what happened, and the similarities to the RE market in L.A. He pretty much drew his own conclusions from there. He is going to wait a year.
