It is frightening because our corporation administration costs are way to high. The cost savings tend to come from the labor department as well as tech which allows more production though it does not limit jobs.

You sister is probably a good example. I here of more cut backs than add jobs. The reasons are numerous in particualr case it goes back to the law and concern of a suit.

The difficulty in this is the legal cost of doing business becomes to high on the administration end so PE are higher than they would be.

The solution becomes less employees so the cost of legal can be met. I thinking in terms of who you going to call Ghost Busters but where do you get cash flow from when there are no Ghosts left to bust.

Al >I almost consider bonds the best buy because so few answer bonds. Stocks still above 40% on the poll.

Don't forget that the "best investment" is what the respondents want other people to invest in . In other words, those who reply "stocks", want stocks to go up, presumably, so that their investment can appreciate and they can then sell or whatever. By replying "stocks" doesn't mean that they, themselves, would invest in stocks today or that they think that stocks are, in fact, the best investment.

The performance of stocks has been catastrophic and the earnings or underlying values are simply a joke so anyone who mentions that stocks are the best investment has to be lying.

Clearly, the investment community has the corporate management it deserves.
