You actually think those liberal and conservative labels make a difference? 90% of the politics is marketing, these folks will say whatever it takes to get elected, and only after many hours of voter focus groups to give them their liberal or conservative agenda. Liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican, these are just a bunch of folks that want power, prestige and money.
