One thing to remember is that Israelis don't see the same CNN as we do. They see European CNN, . . . Thanks, I was not aware of it. On the CNN deference to the Sharon govt, I meant that as something of a throw away line. I should have typed something like the following. That CNN mostly takes what it can get and the Israeli govt (in this case, the Sharon govt) is much better at the PR stuff than the Palestinians. For many reasons. I also, however, think, for the obvious money reasons, CNN much more readily defers to complaints from the Sharon folk than from the Arafat folk.
