William. I think CB's WANT gold to go up. Gold rising means inflation. Inflation is GOOD. Inflation means pricing power. Inflation means corporations can make profits. Profits make the stock market go up and people get employed.

Right now my biggest fear is my job. Not the fact that the Fed is eroding my buying power.

The Fed needs to cut rates NOW and inject liquidity to keep price stability otherwise.

So far it looks like Prechter and the E-Waver's deflationary depression scenario is right on track in which case all assets will fall. Gold is a store of wealth - hence an asset - and it too will fall due to simply supply/demand economics.

Cash is king.
