I did a Google search and found this message: ku.edu The C-Ration consisted of a box holding 6 cans -- 3 meat and 3 bread -- plus a foil package containing 1 pack of cigaretters, toilet paper, a P-38 (can opener) and some other stuff I can't remember. It was intended to feed on man, one day. So......I would say that you have to open the box to get at the cans first. You immediately eat all of the bread because you know that to get the cans warm without losing all of the contents to explosion you will need energy. Then hell.....I don't know........stomp on the can with your foot, throw in fire, and stand back so as not to catch possible exploding lima beans in face, all the while crossing your fingers that at least this time you might have discovered the SECRET to warm cans of C-RATS? I still think you need to punch little holes in the can with your Swiss army knife. (that would certainly be BEFORE employing the can-opener). Of course you also have a smoke because that is what you do after every course? <gg> And I really wanted that opener. LOLOLOLO ;) M
