"Walk a mile for a Camel cigarette." was a 1950s slogan that rings true for most items in life that has a wide seperation between the very best examples, and those not good at all except in appearance or name only. . The world's very best coffee in cost is x10 that available to me using selected outlets that deliver a quality 95% of the very best so that for 1/10 th the cost i'am too close to not notice the difference, meaning for coffee and ice cream like Ben & Jerry's every person can obtain 95% the very world's best for a price near 95% cheaper, and using Edy's Dreamery as another ice cream great from what is just a run of the mill average company. . But certain things like cigars require certain folks like me to every once in a while spend that extra 95% to obtain the "last" 5% :o) so yes, while i have not "Walked a mile for a Camel cigarette." i have left the United States at times and obtained that last few notches in possibilities with a cigar and watched that money payed in extra "go up in smoke." :o) . I think it was loantech that mentioned other cigars as having what it takes to satisfy, and he is very correct in that one can obtain in a cigar not Cuban a smoke that is at times as good or better since the mood of the person doing the puffs & puffings plays a big part of the enjoymint obtained, and just so it one of those cigars that is of the best, then a best smoke is done. . "... can supply genuine pre-embargo Cuban cigars." . Yes, but since many counterfeit cigars especially of Cuba have been obtained in many nations like the US, it is best that one "Walk a mile for a Camel cigarette." in that to do the actual walk themselves rather than just accept a talk from another as many honest people sometimes have not the road map to determine real from a fake especially when the fake is 95% as good as the real. Guess for me to know that "I been there and done that." with Cuban cigars, its not a "chase" i want to keep into since those other 95% as good have not the availability problems Cuban's have and the chance of getting not the real deal goes from a possible to near zero, and for me as i spoke, my mood determines my cigar experience far more than that last 5%. . (semi-off topic) Maybe thats why E.C.'s WildCat Gold Mine remains 99.95% NOT since its that "greater than zero" (or) "not zero" that E.C. will have to accept that at least a 5% screw-job is "build-in" as a minimum for anyone to join up and get the mine mine'ed :o) . Man, that last 5% can be a show-stopper for some folks. d:oug
