It seems as though the people I talk to are in a state of panic and therefore, are frozen. They are afraid to sell now thinking this may be the low. The are also afraid to holO1Nûeir stock but most just do nothing and let what happens happen.

I think there isn't going to be any fear stage like so many are waiting for, simply because there isn't enough value left in many equities to bother selling.

If you're talking about general economic fear, as in early 80s steelworker and autoworker type fear, then who knows maybe thats coming or its here. But as far as stock market panic selling... that was around the 60-70% decline stage not the 98% decline stage I'm thinking... well, jmo.
