Get yourself a DVD on pre-Columbus Spain, possibly starting with Phoenicians. 500 years of training since Crusades in Christian love and tolerance did not keep them from Reconquista, from giving humanity a great new tool of poower, the Inquisition, did not keep them from expelling Jews and mudehars - man, you got me fired. Oops, and of course it did not keep them from discovering and Christianizing America. No wonder Christian right is so strong in US; So dispiriting, they use just gas, IV, kV and rope.
