Longer run I agree with you. However, how do you think the market will respond to testing of the recent lows? Traders saw a 1200 point turn around from the recent intra-day bottom. I'm guessing that traders will jump on stocks somewhere above the last low so not to miss another big pop up, especially if the fed cuts rates. Furthermore, I'm not expecting a rate cut until early September. In '98 the fed waited until the markets were seriously oversold before they eased to offset the Asian problem.

Does any of this make sense?
