Looks like Nasdaq was a 90% downside day as calculated by Lowry's (ignoring unchanged data), but NYSE was 88.4%.

I think that will cut harder the other way. Traders who have survived that last few years will forget how to be trend traders, just like all the timers that have been looking for lows recently -- they were by and large products of a huge trend who did not adapt.

I agree, those who survived this market will thrive when there is a more sane enviroment. I am up not up nearly as much as i should be, but I am learning a boatload that I could never learn in a Bull market. Its a humbling experience when your used to making 3,4,5% in a good week and now your lucky to do that in a quarter.
