<< Fleckenstein has on the whole been right>>....especially on Alan Greenspan and his chainsaw surgery techniques. Stop the roller coaster Alan, I wanna get off.

You Can Be Right And Wrong At The Same Time In The Market.

While Mr. F was suggesting the virtues of gold and silver stocks, they were tanking , and never let up for three years.

Many companies died or turned into dot - bombs , while Mr. Market exploded to the upside. Those who stayed on the sidelines missed some of the best madness the market has ever seen.

But to be fair , he likely saved many from getting involved on the long side when things began to unwind, such as when this thread was created. There was still money to be made if you were both sceptical and nimble though, and some did well trading the trend of the day or week.

Anywhoo......hats off to Bill F.

He did indeed finally " get it right ".

The question now is , will he recognize the beginnings of a bull market and accept the fact that stocks go up as well as down, whether or not they should or shouldn't? <GGG>
