Missing top line and stock repurchase is all BS. What is going to move the market one way or the other will be guidance. The CC will tell all and how the media puts a spin on it will be the catalyst.

and i think that will continue with tech stocks.

it's simply a matter of decreasing the available float and that will be perceived as bullish.

one other thing to be aware of is that there was a guy from treasury (assist. sec. i believe) saying last night that treasury is looking at some tax issues wrt corp. income tax and write offs with an eye to stimulating corporate growth.

things discussed were items like doubling the $3000 cap loss ded....no corp. income tax for 2 years on newly formed business....things like that.
