Maurice,

Re: Do you want the Germans in charge of goose-stepping?

Keep in mind that Dubya's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was a banker to Hitler well into WW II. He saw no conflict-of-interest. Just like Cheney sees no conflict between selling equipment to Saddam while this was prohibited by sanctions, since he can now erase his sins with a few strategic B-52 strikes. And then start the cycle all over again.. Ain't war grand?

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

The difference between me and the President is that he wants the goose step and I want the foie gras.
Though we both would cook the goose.

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Stalinists are middle brow. Trotskyists are high brow, and completely baffling to the Stalinist.

Throw in a French poodle - oh, hang on, there aren't any French to speak of

About 8.5 million in the US with French roots, granted they're blending but still pretty thick in the northeast and around Cajun country. Probably easily double that if you count us up here in the GWN.

Heck I bet you'll find Ray is one of them , ancestrally speaking that is...sounds like a good French name to me ;o)
