Thanks, MM, but here's some food for thought: I find it hard to accept that a trailing PE of 25 is appropriate if we are heading into phase two of a double dip. I have read that the consensus probability of a double dip is about 10 to 25% but that was a few days ago and this stuff changes rapidly. It may be true that just because other bear market bottoms had PEs of about 12 that doesn't mean that we have to go through a complete bottom. It also does not mean that the bottom is a "V" with a dramatic recovery. We could sit dormant for a number of years. Tom
