I feel the same way. For me, September 11th will be a quiet, meditative day: no tv news or internet.

You want a war? You got it.

I do not nor have I ever abhorred labelling and categorizing people.
So what's the problem?

I've gotten into a couple of arguments with the lefties for doing just that.
You seem to have gotten into another one too.

I could not operate without categorizing and labeling.
So what's the problem?

I made my living as an analyst and that's a basic tool.
So what's the problem?

You must have me confused with someone else.
I doubt it.

What I abhor is, when categorizing and labeling people, not bothering to be thoughtful, accurate, and respectful about it.
Thoughtful? What leads you to believe I haven't given the matter thought? You're a mind reader?

Thanks for assuming I'm an idiot. If that's not categorizing, what is?

Accurate?
Well, X says you're a conservative. But then Mao Tse Dung was a conservative compared to her.

She also said this depends on where the categorizer is. I use the Gold Standard of conservatism: JLA, Bill, and I. That makes you a liberal.

Respectful?
To some extent that's in the mind of the beholder. OTOH, I don't remember my being disrespectful to you. Until now, anyway.
